Aspartic Polyurea Tile-Sparing Waterproof Material
Aspartic polyurea tile-sparing waterproof material is a new type of high-performance waterproof product, mainly composed of aspartic polyurea polymer materials and additives. It boasts excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and aging resistance, and can maintain stable waterproof performance in various harsh environments.
Excellent Weather Resistance: Maintains good waterproof effect in hot and humid or cold and dry environments, without yellowing or discoloration after long-term use. It can be directly exposed outdoors for years without aging or chalking.
Strong Corrosion Resistance: Resists erosion by acids, alkalis, salts and other chemical substances. It can maintain long-term waterproof effect in humid and chemically vulnerable environments such as basements and bathrooms.
Good Wear Resistance: Withstands friction and abrasion, maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the waterproof layer during long-term use. It is not easily damaged even when applied on frequently trodden floors or friction-prone walls.
Superior Aging Resistance: Features stable performance during prolonged use, retaining long-lasting waterproof effect even in harsh conditions, which reduces the frequency of repairs and replacements.
Simple Construction: Eliminates the need to remove existing tiles or concrete substrates. A single coat of waterproof adhesive brushed or sprayed on the substrate surface is sufficient to achieve excellent waterproofing, saving considerable time and costs.
Environmentally Friendly: Contains no harmful substances, posing no risks to the environment or human health. It is also recyclable, complying with sustainable development requirements.
Residential Waterproofing: Repairing tile leakage in bathrooms, kitchens, balconies and other areas, solving water seepage problems without tile removal.
Building Exterior Walls: Waterproof repair for leaking exterior walls, as well as waterproof and moisture-proof treatment for the surface of exterior wall decorative materials.
Other Scenarios: Suitable for various waterproofing-required places such as roofs, basements, swimming pools and terraces.
Base Surface Preparation: Clean the wall substrate thoroughly with cleaning agents, wire brushes, rags, etc., without damaging the gloss of the original surface layer.
Material Mixing: Mix the components strictly according to the specified ratio until uniform. Generally, the weight ratio of Component A to Component B is 1:1.
Brushing Construction: First, apply the aspartic polyurea waterproof adhesive to the joints of facing tiles. Each coat must be applied with the specified dosage, avoiding excessively thick or thin layers. Construct by rolling backward, and brush with extra care. Usually, 2–3 coats are required, with brushing directions alternating vertically and horizontally. The next coat can only be applied after the previous coat has dried and no longer feels sticky.
Construction Timing: The mixed product must be used up within the specified time limit, e.g., 40 minutes. After construction, maintain good ventilation. The surface can be put into normal use once fully dried.
Drainage Protection: Keep floor drains on exterior walls or balconies sealed during construction to prevent adhesive infiltration and clogging.
Safety Protection: Ensure the construction environment is well-ventilated. Avoid direct contact between the product and skin or eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse the affected area immediately with water. If the product gets into the eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention at once.
