Description

Polyurethane Road Protective Agent

Polyurethane Road Protective Agent is formulated with resins, pigments, extender pigments, additives and solvents. It is an innovative product specially developed for the characteristics of concrete and asphalt pavements, integrating functions of color modification, slip resistance, renovation and road disease prevention. It exhibits excellent adhesion to both concrete and asphalt pavements; combined with different construction techniques, it can achieve standard anti-slip effects or create colored anti-slip pavement surfaces. Widely applied in road painting projects and renovation & color-changing projects for asphalt and concrete pavements, it maintains colorfastness over a long service life, serving as a cost-effective new-type pavement material.

Scope of Application

Pavement paving and decoration for water parks, municipal roads, park plazas, urban greenways, slow traffic lanes, commercial real estate areas, hot spring resorts, landscape roads, campuses and various public recreational paths.

Product Features

  • Eco-friendly

  • Bright, customizable colors

  • Excellent corrosion resistance

  • Good gloss retention

  • Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications

  • Strong weather resistance

Construction Process

  1. Substrate: Concrete or asphalt substrate is required.

  2. Substrate Surface Preparation: Clean the surface to be coated with a high-pressure water gun or air blower to ensure it is clean, dry and free of contaminants. This step has no corresponding material dosage as it is a cleaning operation requirement.

  3. First Primer Coat: Apply Polyurethane Road Protective Agent (mixed at a ratio of 4:1) with a theoretical dosage of 0.2kg/㎡.

  4. Second Top Coat: Apply Polyurethane Road Protective Agent (mixed at a ratio of 4:1) again with a theoretical dosage of 0.15kg/㎡.

During the construction of the road protective agent, ensure the pavement is clean and dry. Mix the two components of the protective agent thoroughly, add an appropriate amount of diluent, and apply with an airless sprayer. Incorporate ultra-fine wear-resistant aggregate during construction to achieve the anti-slip effect.

Precautions

  • Construction Substrate Requirements: The substrate shall be smooth, clean, firm and solid, free of standing water and obvious moisture stains, with rounded edges at all joints completed.

  • Construction Tool Requirements: All construction tools shall be kept dry and clean.
