Description

Polyurethane-Polyurea Coating Material

Polyurethane-polyurea coating material is an elastic coating formed by the reaction of isocyanate components and amino compound components (including polyetheramine, chain extenders, etc.). It integrates the flexibility of polyurethane and the weather resistance of polyurea, boasting the composite advantages of strong protection, high elasticity and fast curing, and is suitable for surface protection and decoration in multiple scenarios.

Product Features

  • Superior Weather & Corrosion Resistance: UV aging resistant; stable performance at a wide temperature range of -40℃ to 120℃; resistant to acid, alkali, salt spray and swimming pool disinfectant (chlorine) corrosion.

  • High Elasticity & Impact Resistance: Elongation at break ≥ 300%; impact absorption rate reaches 25%–40%, which buffers external impact and reduces the risk of damage.

  • Fast Curing & Easy Construction: Surface-dry within 10–30 minutes and fully cured in 24 hours after spraying or brushing at room temperature, greatly shortening the construction period; the seamless coating can be formed in one go, eliminating the risk of water seepage.

  • Eco-Friendly & Safe: Low VOC content and no pungent odor, suitable for various indoor and outdoor places.

  • Wear-Resistant & Easy Maintenance: High surface hardness, excellent wear resistance and easy to clean.

Scope of Application

  • Waterproofing & Protection: Inner walls of swimming pools and lazy rivers, roofs, basements, inner walls of chemical storage tanks; the seamless coating provides reliable water and corrosion resistance.

  • Sports & Recreation: Floors of indoor and outdoor basketball courts and roller skating rinks; surfaces of children's playgrounds and kindergarten activity areas; high elasticity ensures user safety.

  • Industrial & Transportation: Workshop floors, parking lot ramps (slip and wear resistant); containers and truck compartments; resistant to high-frequency use and harsh environments.

  • Architectural Decoration: Floors of commercial spaces (exhibition halls, parent-child parks, etc.); exterior wall coatings imitating stone or metal texture; combining aesthetic appeal with protective functions.

Construction Process

  1. Substrate Preparation: The substrate shall be flat and crack-free, with its surface clean and dry; oil stains and impurities shall be removed by grinding.

  2. Primer Application: Apply a special interface agent evenly (to enhance adhesion) and allow it to dry at room temperature for 4–6 hours.

  3. Coating Application: Adopt airless high-pressure spraying (for large areas) or trowel brushing (for small areas) to form the coating with designed thickness, with an interval of 2–4 hours between each coat.

  4. Curing & Maintenance: No treading is allowed within 24 hours after construction; avoid heavy load rolling within 7 days to ensure complete curing.

  5. Inspection & Delivery: Check that the coating is free of blisters and delamination; test adhesion and waterproof performance before delivery upon passing the inspection.
